I cannot tell a lie: Lighthearted Entertainment gives its viewers a heavy dose of reality. A television production company, Lighthearted produces such reality television shows as The Moment of Truth, a game show that asks contestants to answer difficult personal questions truthfully (Have you ever cheated on your wife?) in exchange for cash prizes; plastic surgery show Extreme Makeover; and dating shows Next! and The Big Date. Its productions have aired on major network and cable channels like FOX, ABC, and MTV. Lighthearted, which is privately-owned, was founded in 1992 by president Howard Schultz.
