Walnut Street Center

Walnut Street Center Inc., WSC, is a non-profit human services agency that provides comprehensive supports to adults with intellectual disabilities. The center was founded in 1970 by a community of parents seeking services for their own children, and has grown to include the current services: 24 Hour Residential, Individual Support (less than 24 hour residential), Community Based Day, Day Habilitation and Employment Support Programs. The Walnut Street Center serves over 150 people annually. In 2016, the center became part of a new service area, which includes Everett, Malden, Lynnfield, Medford, Melrose, Reading, North Reading, Saugus, Stoneham, and Wakefield, MA Mission:?Walnut Street Center is a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives through a variety of support services that provide the opportunity to live, work, volunteer, and socialize within the community.
