4WT stands for 4word Thought which is a reference to our company values. The idea is while we move ?forward? and continue to create new work, we keep in mind what drives us and the ?4 words? that represent our values. It may sound cliche, but it?s important to us that we remember why we do what we do and that everyone has a clear understanding of what 4WT stands for. Those 4WT values are: Innovation - We take risks together to find new ways to be better. Passion - We love what we do and aim to be the best. Authenticity - We are true to ourselves and stand behind our actions. Dynamism - We constantly strive to affect positive change around us. 4WT was founded in 2012 after John Trefry left a venture-backed tech company which was later acquired by Intuit. Prior to starting 4WT, John built a department focused specifically on video. He learned that technology was disrupting the way traditional film, TV and advertisements were being produced. Thus 4WT Media was born, a production company focused on high-quality production while using more efficient methods of production that leveraged new technologies. Since 2012, we have produced hundreds of projects that have been seen by millions around the world. Our goal is to create meaningful work that truly connects and inspires audiences to engage.
