Fortunoff Fine Jewelry & Silverware sells fine and antique jewelry, silver, and watches, plus housewares and cookware products. M. Fortunoff of Westbury sells home furnishings, small appliances, gifts, luggage, and more. The company was founded in 1922 by Max Fortunoff and family run until 2000. Fortunoff, which is owned by NRDC Equity Partners, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in early 2009, the second time in a year.
