Consonus

Consonus Technologies is a middleman for data. The company provides IT services such as data storage, colocation, and managed hosting services. Though it doesn't own any data centers outright (it sold its Utah facility in 2010), the company contracts for space with other data centers in the US. Consonus counts about 500 customers in 35 states from a range of industries, including financial services, government, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, telecom, utilities, and health care. The company also provides technical support for IT products from such suppliers as Hewlett-Packard, NetApp, Oracle, Symantec, and VMware. Consonus was acquired in 2011 by utilities consulting and market data provider Midas Medici.
