Wealth strategist Ira Sorensen helps individuals invest their discretionary money.
Ira Sorensen is a professional wealth strategist who makes it his goal to allow clients to establish their own plans by capitalizing on his system. He serves the financial services industry as the owner of Enrich Planning and Insurance in South Jordan, UT, where he helps individuals with discretionary money find good investment vehicles.

At Enrich Planning and Insurance, he specializes in offering insurance solutions and wealth management strategies for individual clients. The approach that he takes with the provision of his customer services is very down to earth, as he gets to know the personal needs of each client first and foremost. By doing so, he is better able to provide the customer with top quality services. He is also honest and truthful with all of his clients, and he speaks to each of them in a clear and concise manner so that his advice does not go over their heads.

In his wealth management work, Sorensen uses the L.E.A.P. Planning Strategy. This stands for Lifetime Economic Acceleration Process, which incorporates the concepts of “infinite banking” or “become your own banker.” As he explains, this infinite banking concept provides individuals with a robust financial strategy that is designed to put them in complete control of their finances. By learning the basic ideas of infinite banking, his clients can improve how they grow, save, and use their money.

Outside of his wealth management work, Ira Sorensen is also an avid cyclist. He started cycling back in 2009, and since then he has won numerous races in a number of categories. Today he races for Millcreek Bicycles in Salt Lake City, UT.
Ira Sorensen rose to the level of success that he enjoys today in the financial services industry by establishing a solid foundation of education and practiced professional experience.

Educational Background

Ira attended Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah, as a young man before embarking on his career in wealth management. After graduating from here, he enrolled at Utah State University in 1994, where he primarily studied commercial photography.

While attending Utah State, Sorensen also became a member of Phi Gamma Delta, one of the largest Greek letter social fraternities in North America, with 18 colonies and more than 120 active chapters all across the United States and Canada. In 1998, he graduated from Utah State University with his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in commercial photography.

Previous Work Experience

While still pursuing his undergraduate studies at Utah State, Ira Sorensen joined the Kennecott Utah Copper Training Department in June of 1995. Kennecott is a mining company that provides the essential elements needed to make many aspects of modern living possible. The materials that they produce here are used in many different devices and products that millions of people use every single day, from technology such as hybrid electric cars, CAT scans, computers, and cellphones to everyday essentials such as medicine, shampoo, and food.

Sorensen stayed on with Kennecott Utah Copper for nine years, eventually moving on in May 2004. He then joined Mass Mutual Financial Group, a company that offers long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, retirement planning, annuities, and whole life insurance to their clients. As a mutual company, Mass Mutual seeks to generate long-term investments with stable performance for the benefit of each of their members and policy owners.

Ira Sorensen stayed with Mass Mutual until January of 2006, when he joined Enrich Planning and Insurance in South Jordan, UT as an agent. He still works here today and now owns the company, providing his clients with top quality customer service, strategic wealth management concepts, and professional honesty.

Cycling Career

In addition to his professional history in wealth management, Sorensen also has an impressive history as an avid cyclist. He began cycling in earnest back in 2009 and since then has only improved and gained more recognition as a racing cyclist.

Since beginning his cycling career, Ira Sorensen has won a variety of races in a number of categories. For instance, he has won the LoToJa (Logan to Jackson) Bicycle Classic twice. This is a one-day amateur bicycle road race of 206 miles stretching from Logan, UT to Jackson Hole, WY, making it the longest one-day cycling race with sanction from USA Cycling, as well as one of the longest one-day cycling races in the United States, period.

Additionally, he has also won three state races in category 4 in 2011 and in categories 3 and 4 in 2012. He took sixth place in the Pro 1/2/3 Field in 2013, won the Utah State TT Championship in 2013 – Masters 35+ and won the overall Utah Cycling Association in 2013 – Masters. Today Sorensen races for Millcreek Bicycles based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

Philanthropic Endeavors

On top of his professional experience and his success as a bicycle racing enthusiast, Ira Sorensen has also participated in a number of charitable and philanthropic endeavors. Most of these endeavors combine his passion for cycling with his charitable spirit.

For instance, he has taken part in the Tour de Cure, which is a series of fundraising cycling events that are held nationwide by the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is not a race but a ride designed to help raise money for diabetes awareness and research.

She has also contributed to the nonprofit charity Bikes For Kids, which helps to raise both money and donations of bikes for underprivileged children.

With these charities, Ira shows that he is just as dedicated to helping out his community as he is to serving his wealth management clients.
Heading into his professional future, Ira Sorensen plans to continue offering all of his current services and solutions in both insurance and wealth management for all of his individual clients, both current and prospective.

In order to keep his skills as sharp as they can be and his services as effective as possible, he also intends to continue educating himself when it comes to the constant changes within the financial services industry. This continued education will also allow him to better educate his clients, too, granting them more power over their own financial lives and situations.

On top of all of that, Ira Sorensen also plans to continue enlightening his clients about their options when it comes to life insurance strategies. Additionally, he will continue to spread the word about the power of infinite banking and how his clients can utilize this power in order to change the way that they think about money for the better. This includes how they can grow it, how they can save it, and how they can better utilize it so that it works harder for them and they can enjoy it more.

Beyond his work in financial services and wealth management, Sorensen also plans to continue improving as a cyclist with Millcreek Bicycles. He looks forward to competing in and winning many more cycling races as well as putting his passion to work aiding his community through charities such as Bikes for Kids and the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure.
