Matthew Berdyck is an American film maker, and guitar virtuoso, most notably known for his experimental, and documentary film work.
As the owner of Fillmore Street Films, Matthew Berdyck has worked on the development of numerous major cable network development projects, a feature length documentary on homelessness (Matthew Berdyck;'s From Hopeful To Hopeless), several short films exposing illness clusters in residential neighborhoods (Matthew Berdyck's Poison in the Grapes), with his most recent piece of experimental film created for Jordan Rudess of 2014 Grammy Nominated Dream Theater, for Jordan's 'Rudess Morgenstein Project.' Matthew Berdyck continues to deliver ground breaking visual madness to viewers all around the world.
After getting his start as a film maker in February of 2011, Matthew Berdyck's first piece of film, Wayward Traveler, was pitched to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim just ten months after the first time he used a video camera.

In 2012 Matthew created the first ever, in film history, first person film about homelessness in which he gave up his home on The Central Coast of California and then committed to living on the street, as a homeless person, for a year of his life, while filming his journey from Oregon to San Diego in search of a home in order to demonstrate the difficulties presented to people who have been remanded to life on the streets.

In 2013 Matthew changed social reform hats to the subject of EPA Superfund sites after growing in a neighborhood in Akron, Ohio that was situated next to a toxic waste dump. Matthew Berdyck's film Poison in the Grapes detailed his struggle to get The City of Akron, Ohio to investigate the presence of a cluster of Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Chrohn's Disease, Chronic Fatigue, and other unexplained illnesses specifically concentrated in the neighborhood around the EPA site Summit Equipment and Supplies.

Shortly after the release of the film the director of The Ohio EPA, Scott Nally resigned from his post amidst a wash of corruption allegations including the accusation that he pressured other EPA employees to overlook violations by the coal industry. Immediately following the making of the film he released another short film on the same subject in Malibu, California.

Rounding out 2013 he released his third film piece, a music video. Matthew was invited on tour with 2014 Grammy Nominated Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess, and Berklee College of Music drum instructor Rod Morgenstein for their 'Rudess Morgenstein Project' reunion tour. The results of his travels with Jordan was a ground breaking experimental 1970's concert film called 'The Philadelphia Experiment - Ra (Live) which was release on Christmas Eve.
