Kristen Zollers Fath is a family lawyer, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. She has been working as a lawyer for over twenty years, specializing in family law and divorce proceedings. This area of law includes equitable distribution, custody, support, and protection from abuse issues. Additionally, Kristen is licensed to draft prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, property settlement agreements, and several other domestic related documents. Fath states that she possesses an understanding of the compassion and advocacy her clients need and makes it her purpose to know how to properly guide them through the complications they face in divorce, custody, support and abuse matters. Currently, Fath is working in North Wales, PA. When she isn’t working in the office, Fath is practicing personal family law, spending time with her husband and four young children.
Kristen Zollers Fath openly comments that balancing her family and career is one of the most important aspects of her daily life. As she is an intensely dedicated mother and a highly esteemed lawyer, Kristen has clearly found the proper balance between work and play. Kristen has four children—three boys and a girl. She finds ways to incorporate her children into her working life by volunteering at the children's elementary school. Additionally, Kristen dedicates a portion of her time towards coaching lacrosse and playing tennis and golf in order to keep active with her children. It’s ardors like these that separate Kristen Zollers Fath apart from other lawyers. In today’s chaotic law field, it’s a rarity to find a lawyer willing to cut their hours down to even 50 a week.

Lawyers are notorious for being workaholics; perfecting the push and shove that gets them paid, gives their clients a fighting chance, and brings esteem to their law firm. What sets her apart is her dedication to each client’s case with a hand-holding approach. Fath commits fully to her clients as though they were her own friends and family seeking help navigating the justice system.
She is said to be very hands on and has a remarkable talent for understanding her clients. This understanding and mutual respect provides a level of compassion not readily found in other professionals in her field, and surely has something to do with the decades of success she has achieved.
Kristen Zollers Fath has been practicing law for over twenty years. Her admission to practice law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania was made official in 1994. Kristen has been admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Superior Courts of Georgia. Fath holds a degree in finance from Penn State University. Additionally, she attended Villanova University School of Law, in the far southeast corner of Pennsylvania, to receive her law degree. Villanova, PA is an historic town, known for its regional rail train, the Norristown High Speed Line. The town is a cluster of prosperous Philadelphia suburbs that run along the east-west tracks of the historic Pennsylvania Railroad. According to the National Register Information System, the Bridge in Radnor Township No. 2 and Camp-Woods are both mentioned on the National Register of Historic Places. Still, in the midst of all these nationally recognized locations, the most notable feature of the town is Villanova University (and its accompanying graduate school).
Villanova University is a short 12 miles from Philadelphia, drawing in an abundance of culturally diverse students from around the globe, all coming to experience one of the fifth-largest cities in the US. Villanova plays on its proximity to Philadelphia by including “Around Philadelphia” (a ‘What to do in’ source) directly on their Prospective Students webpage.

Educationally, Kristen’s alma mater, Villanova University School of Law, is a top ranked school. Villanova offers a legal education designed to teach the rules and practical applications of law, to demonstrate how lawyers analyze legal issues and express arguments and conclusions, to explore the ethical and moral dimensions of practicing law and maintaining professional conduct, and much more. According to the National Law Journal (published in accordance with the Villanova School of Law), in 2013 the university was ranked No. 42 out of 50 carefully selected, top graduate law institutions across America.

This ranking is annually determined by identifying the number (and further calculating the exact percentage) of juris doctor graduates that are hired as first-year associates by prestigious law firms. In 2012, nine percent of Villanova graduates accepted positions with nationally accredited firms. Additionally, Villanova Law was recognized by the National Law Journal as a choice school for the mega-firm Reed Smith. In the 2014 statistical poll for “Best Graduate Schools,” Villanova Law was listed as 98th, overall in the country.

In conjunction with academia, the Villanova School of Law offers its students the chance to participate in an externship program. These externship programs are an opportunity for students to earn academic credit while working under the supervision of a practicing lawyer and/or law firm. Along with exceptional career advancement opportunities, participating in an externship allows for excellent experimental training in a students’ field of study. Villanova University offers externships in over 30 diverse fields, as well as allows its students to submit their own externship proposal (based on the Externship Policy set in place).

To complete your externship you must work a minimum of 168 hours for the host organization, complete all necessary paperwork, attend weekly meetings with your faculty advisor, etc. Ultimately, fulfilling an externship from VLS could launch your career on a trajectory of your choosing—an option that is only granted to those who excel past their potential and work fervently towards their future(s). In 1993, while attending Villanova, Kristen Zollers Fath joined her current law firm. Upon graduation, she joined the firm as an associate and went on to receive her LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova. She became a partner at the firm in 1999.

From the high standards set by the educational system at Villanova University, it is clear that Kristen Zollers Fath fit right into the mold during her law school years. The mission statement of Villanova School of Law states four key aspects of Tradition: A tradition of respect for Human Dignity, a tradition of Academic Freedom, a tradition of Academic Excellence, and a tradition of Inclusion. As Fath has made clear the importance of her role as both lawyer and mother, the tradition of respect for Human Dignity resonates highly throughout her character. Her dedication to the area of family law emphasizes the desire within her to deliver healthy home environments to her clients. The statistic for divorce in today’s society is approximately 40 – 50% throughout the United States. In a country where divorce is more common than not, Kristen Zollers Fath works towards settling these disputes with respect and decency

Fath manages her busy lifestyle well. She serves on the Home and School Association Executive Board at Shady Grove Elementary School. She is also a volunteer coach for a girls lacrosse club. Kristen Zollers Fath is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
Kristen Zollers Fath's number one priority is providing compassionate care to those who rely on her; whether they be family, coworkers, or clients.

Fath shows no signs of leaving her work in family law for years to come. Her life, as it is now, appears to be exactly what a young law student of the new millennium could ever hope to accomplish. She has built an extensive resume of law practice, an impressive handling of work commitments and social life, and above all, a loving family. It is undeniable that Kristen Zollers Fath sets the bar for excellence both at work and at home.
