Neeraj Tewari is Maryland resident, committed family man, as well as a working professional. He also has diverse experience in telecommunications and software development.

Neeraj Tewari is a hard-working, success-oriented professional, whose achievements in the fields of telecommunications and software development continue to be extremely influential throughout these industries. He has worked alongside companies ranging from start-ups to large enterprises, and he has developed a name for himself as someone who is attentive to detail and focused on delivering results. At the same time, he is a family man, and there is really nothing more important to him than spending time with his family.

Professionally speaking, he is currently the head of a successful services firm, based in the Maryland area. The company is wildly successful, and this is largely thanks to the labors and leadership of Tewari. He is responsible for the overall corporate and telecommunications business strategies of the firm, including IPO strategy, M&A strategy, and more.

But for as committed as he is to his business, he is further devoted to his family. He has been married since 1991, and has two children who were born in 1999 and 2001. He loves spending time with them, as the family shares many common interests—among them tennis, music, and more.

Traveling is also something that he loves to do. In fact, Tewari takes his family to some of the most exotic and enjoyable destinations on the planet; previous family vacation spots include Cancun, the Caribbean, London, Denmark, and India. The latter is a common destination for the family, as Tewari’s parents reside there.

For Tewari, balancing work and family is priority number one.

It might be a little bit cliché, saying that Neeraj Tewari is a devoted family man—but that doesn’t make it untrue. Certainly, there are many busy and successful professionals who say what matters most to them is spending time with their family members. This is very much the case with Tewari, who really is a busy and successful professional and who really does love spending time with his family. In fact, it is his family life that he is most passionate talking about—more than his personal hobbies and goals, more even than the successful, multi-million dollar business that he runs.

He begins with his wife. Neeraj married his bride in 1991, and they have enjoyed happiness together ever since—through good times and through hardships as well! His wife, Manisha, holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Mumbai University, which she earned in 1987. She went on to get a Master’s in Urban Planning, from Virginia Tech, in 1991.

Today, she works for the City of Potomac, in Maryland. Specifically, she serves as a Planner II. In this capacity, she is responsible for the long-range planning for the entire city, which is work that she not only enjoys, but is well-suited for. Her husband is nothing if not delighted that his wife enjoys what she does!

The couple has two children. Neeraj Tewari is proud of both of them, and they of him. In fact, he says with a sense of achievement, that they have recognized him as the “Best Dad Ever” multiple times over—an honor that means far more to him than any professional accolades or industry prestige!

His son is Eshan, and he was born in 1999. Eshan was selected for the magnet program for gifted and talented youngsters at Cold Spring Elementary School and received straight A’s in all of his studies. Currently in middle school, he is taking accelerated English and Math, as well as Band. He routinely makes the Principal’s list. Eshan enjoys such hobbies as basketball, tennis, and piano.

Tewari also has a daughter, named Shevani. She was born in 2001, and is currently enrolled in elementary school. She has also been recommended for the gifted and talented program, and is, herself, a straight-A student. Her passions include soccer, piano, and swimming.

In terms of family activities, the entire Tewari clan is interested in science. In fact, the two kids both express a keen interest in the field of robotics—a field in which their proud dad is all too happy to help them grow and develop! Together, they work on amazingly advanced and sophisticated robotics projects for science fairs and local workshops. What’s more, Neeraj Tewari is invested in the academic success of both of his children, and does what he can to foster their talents, work ethic and accomplishments.

The family enjoys food, in all capacities. As such, one of their greatest pleasures is traveling to some of the best restaurants throughout the area and sampling new cuisines. The Tewari family does not always venture out to get their food fix. They also spend a lot of time cooking and preparing meals together.

Travel is another passion of the Tewari household. Neeraj Tewari loves to pack up his wife and kids and take them to exotic and exciting destinations throughout the world. They love tropical areas, and have visited destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. With that said, they also love to survey the historic cities of Europe, and have spent time doing so in England, Denmark, and beyond. Amusement parks also hold immense interest for them; on occasion, they especially love heading to Disney Land.

As for Neeraj himself, he is enthusiastic about athletics as well as the outdoors. His preferred sport is tennis, and he enjoys playing whenever he gets the chance to do so. He loves to camp throughout Maryland and West Virginia, and his nascent interest in stargazing means that he is especially keen to spend time staring up at the night sky.

For all of this talk of his wife and kids, there is one more family member of whom Neeraj is quite proud. This is his brother, Rajat. Rajat holds a BS in Mathematics, which he obtained from St. Stephen’s college. He also has an MS in Business from Stanford University, and currently works as an investment banker in New England. Neeraj has always been close with his brother and is excited to see him succeed.

Finally, there is much that might be said about the educational and professional achievements of Neeraj himself. First, there is his education. He received a BSEE from the Indian Institute of Technology, in 1984. He went on to receive an MSEE from Lehigh University, and was admitted to the Harvard Business School MBA program in 1995; because of the demands of his already-booming professional life, he was unfortunately not able to pursue this program.

He has spent the bulk of his career amassing leadership experience in the fields of telecommunications and software development. In fact, he has worked for some of the most prestigious companies in these verticals—and today, he is proud to serve as the president of his own company, which is highly successful and reputable itself.

Even before he launched his own company, though, Tewari was known as a key player in his field. He won employee awards at several of the companies he previously worked for, and was asked to chair some special committees. What’s more, he holds two patents, both of which have earned him numerous professional accolades and distinctions.

For as impressive as this resume may be, however, he is really a family man at heart. He obviously invests a great deal of time in running his successful company, but he is even more passionate about giving of his time and talents to help his kids succeed—whether in sports, in school, or in robotics!

Neeraj is a man of many hats, then—a business owner, a patent-holder, a sportsman, a world traveler, and a devoted husband and father. All of these passions have affected the trajectory of his life up to this point, and Neeraj Tewari would not have it any other way.

It’s hard for any man to predict what the future holds in store for him, especially when he happens to be the father of two kids! As the family of Neeraj Tewari continues to mature, he is excited about new challenges that the future may hold. His son is excelling in school, earning straight A’s and taking classes in accelerated English, Math, and Band. Tewari is excited to see what the future has in store for this talented young man.

As for his daughter, she is in elementary school, and also brings in straight A markings. She is a lover of soccer, playing the piano and swimming, and, once more, Neeraj Tewari is keenly excited to see what lies ahead for her.

The future is bright for his wife, as well. She is a planner with the City of Potomac, Maryland, and is responsible for the long-range planning of that city.

Neeraj's professional life is in full blossom, with his business profiting and providing a standard for the entire industry. He hopes to continue developing his name as a forward-thinking member of the telecommunications profession.

And of course, he hopes to continue enjoying his most treasured hobbies, as well. These include camping, tennis, traveling, and, yes, helping his two children to foster their interests in science and robotics.

So what does the future hold for this man? It is impossible to say with any certainly, but one thing can be said with confidence, and it’s that Neeraj Tewari is excited about any new challenges and opportunities that life holds, as long as he can tackle them with his family by his side.
