Richard Trenk was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1982. He served as a law clerk under the Honorable Julius A. Feinberg, Judge of the Superior Court in Essex County, and started practicing in 1983. He was formerly an associate with Ravin, Sarasohn, Cook, Baumgarten, Fisch and Rosen, P.C., and in 1990 was promoted and made a partner of the firm. He launched the Trenk DiPasquale firm in 1997.

The Essex County Bar Association is one of the largest legal professional organizations in New Jersey. Richard Trenk formerly served as president of this esteemed organization. His other endeavors include active involvement with the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Trenk also co-founded the Bankruptcy Inn of Court in the District of New Jersey.

Later that same month, Mr. Trenk and his firm hosted a fundraiser for the Honorable Cory A. Booker, Mayor of the City of Newark. Mayor Booker is Mr. Trenk’s former law partner, and is currently running for Senate.
