Jim left Merrill Lynch in 1999 when he was recruited to join UBS as a financial advisor. Here he was in charge of covering 125 clients from varied and diverse backgrounds, analyzing their portfolios and evaluating their investments to maximize returns as well as providing financial planning services to high net worth families. Finally, due to his competence and skills as an advisor, Seramba was selected to mentor the junior advisors in three regional offices of UBS even though he himself only had 6 years tenure in the industry. He was successful in reducing new advisor attrition by 50 percent and increasing productivity by 35 percent.

Finally, after seven successful years at UBS, James F. Seramba became an owner and managing partner of Grey Oak Wealth Management in 2006.
