Jason Robinson is a Waldwick resident currently works as an executive recruiter for UBS, in New Jersey.
Jason Robinson of Waldwick, has worked at UBS, a financial services company, since 2006. Since 2012, he has held the position of Executive Director, Talent Acquisition Partner for Wealth Management Americas. In that role, he is responsible for maintaining and developing a hiring plan and for acting as the head strategic recruiter. He manages the human resources relationship for all aspects of talent acquisition with the company and partners with HR business partners, business area heads and recruitment delivery leads to make sure that the key strategic initiatives are in alignment.

His major role as a recruiter is to find candidates who are the right fit for the positions available at USB, particularly for wealth management positions. Jason finds new talent through networking and by meeting with potential candidates one on one and face to face. As an executive recruiter, or head hunter, his major task is to spot talent that is appropriate for the financial services company and for wealth management. He is also adept at selling the strengths of the company to worthwhile candidates. In recruiting, it's as much about finding the right potential employees as it is about promoting the company to those potential employees.

His work is in prospecting for talent through networking and one-on-one face time. He has no problem with the term “head-hunter” in describing, or defining his work. He aims to create a strong pool of potential candidates to give the company the best selection when it comes to hiring. He also advises management on hiring expectations, including the type of talent they can expect to get and how much that talent will cost.
Jason Robinson attended Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. There, he earned a bachelor of science degree in Environmental and Business Economics. Rutgers is the largest university in the state of New Jersey. It was founded in 1766 as Queen's College and was one of nine schools founded before the American Revolution.
