Geoffrey Byruch is the founder and CEO of HFP Capital Markets.
A financial professional with many years of experience in the investment banking sector, Geoffrey Byruch currently serves as the CEO and managing partner of HFP Capital Markets, a company he also founded.

HFP Capital Markets maintains a specialized focus on qualified micro-cap and emerging growth companies. Byruch and his team work with both private and public companies, leveraging their relationships with institutional investors, venture capital firms, private equity firms, family offices, and its own, internal client services group. The companies that HFP Capital Markets works with come to Byruch and his team looking to address a unique range of financing needs. HFP Capital Markets, in turn, delivers a wide spectrum of investment banking products, solutions, and strategies.

Geoffrey Byruch has maintained a successful place in the investment banking field for years now; a big part of his success stems from the fact that he remains nimble in an always-evolving industry. He and his HFP Capital Markets team are able to stay on top of industry trends, and to adapt their own strategies as needed.

Additionally, Byruch works hard to ensure that his company is a place where employees are treated fairly, and where the work environment is always positive and productive. This, he believes, carries over into the superior, service-oriented approach that HFP takes with its clients.

“The key to success in this industry is to remain flexible and open-minded, making changes as you need to in order to accommodate market shifts and changing client needs,” Byruch says—and the ongoing success of his company is proof enough that he is doing exactly that.
Geoffrey Byruch currently serves as the CEO and managing partner of HFP Capital Markets LLC, a company that he also founded; he is also the CEO of its parent company, Hudson Financial Partners LLC. He brings to this work more than a decade of institutional sales & trading and investment banking experience in the financial services industry. Right now, his days are devoted to the management and operation of HFP’s Capital Markets Group, where he oversees the Investment Banking, Sales & Trading and Corporate Advisory departments.

Previously, he was a managing director and head of Capital Markets at Capital Growth Financial in New York. Additionally, Byruch has served in an executive management role at a number of boutique investment firms. He attended Temple University and holds Series 7, 24, 55, 63 and 79 licenses.

More About HFP Capital Markets

Geoffrey Byruch is proud of the work that he and his team do at HFP Capital Markets—and for good reason. The company is a full-service boutique investment banking firm, offering a truly robust list of investment products and services to corporate, institutional, and individual private clients.

HFP Capital Markets delivers many of the same services one might find in a bulge bracket firm, but it does so in a smaller, nimbler setting. The company takes pride in the high-touch offerings and the accessibility it is able to offer to clients. Among its broad offerings, HFP Capital Markets boasts Corporate Advisory, Institutional Sales and Trading, Investment Banking, and Private Client Services.

HFP is located in the heart of Manhattan’s popular, high-end Gramercy neighborhood. A team of highly experienced, market-tested investment banking professionals staffs the company. Each team member has earned his or her place at the company by delivering real, compelling investment guidance to clients, proving themselves both knowledgeable and adaptable.

Geoffrey works to ensure that the company always takes a true team-oriented approach. It is his belief that the company is best able to serve clients when each of its departments works in tandem with the others. Additionally, he is adamant about maintaining a positive and productive corporate culture, which he believes to be necessary for getting the best work out of his talented employees.

HFP’s Goals

Geoffrey and his team work to assist individual private clients in structuring investment portfolios that meet all of their financial objectives. For corporate clients, meanwhile, HFP Capital Markets delivers advisory services and access to capital via tailored transactions.

The company is also dedicated to producing long-term value for its clients. Part of this means operating in a way that is always completely transparent, honest, and direct. As such, Geoffrey Byruch holds his company to the highest possible standards of integrity and professionalism.

Investment Banking Services

Much of what Byruch does at the company hinges on investment banking. The company does have an Investment Banking department that focuses on qualified micro-cap and emerging growth companies. These clients have unique financing needs, and as such, HFP Capital Markets delivers a long list of unique services and solutions—among them:

- Private placements
- Alternative public offerings
- Secondary offerings
- Block trades
- Senior debt placements
- Subordinated debt placements
- Convertible bond and convertible preferred offerings
- Merger and acquisition services
- Restructurings and recapitalizations
- General business and strategic advisory services

The Investment Banking team at HFP Capital Markets offers unprecedentedly deep knowledge and broad transactional history in a range of industries—including business software and services, clean technology and renewables, energy, healthcare and life sciences, industrial, mining and metals, retail and consumer products, technology, new media and telecommunications, and more.

This is to say nothing of the other wings of the company, which offer advisory services, solutions for private individual clients, and beyond. Through all of this, Byruch works to ensure that the company is adaptable, that it is honest, and that it always puts the client first. This, Geoffrey Byruch believes, is the recipe that has made HFP Capital Markets successful so far.
What does the future have in store for Geoffrey Byruch? That is an impossible thing for anyone to predict, but it is especially difficult for him. That is because of the industry in which he works: Byruch is an investment banking professional, and the ever-evolving nature of this field makes it all but impossible to predict the future with anything close to certainty.

As such, he prefers to approach his work with flexibility and open-mindedness. He believes that remaining nimble and adaptable is crucial for any investment banking company to succeed. Over the last several years, Byruch and his HFP Capital Markets team have exemplified these values.

Thus, more than anything else, Geoffrey Byruch hopes that the future finds him and his company remaining adaptable. His primary goal is simply to move quickly to accommodate any and all future changes within the industry—all in the interest of serving his clients’ needs.

In particular, he is looking forward to investing in mobile home parks. He sees this as a highly fragmented space without much investment activity, but also a sector rich with opportunity. He believes there is much room to refine this space, and ultimately to help it flourish.

Additionally, Geoffrey Byruch is passionate to ensure that he and his HFP Capital Markets team continue to address client needs, as fully and as satisfactorily as possible. In the future, the company will continue to offer a robust range of services for companies, institutional investors, and even to the company’s many private, individual clients.
