Michael Lallana is a successful businessman and entrepreneur with a varied career history.
Michael Lallana currently works in Santa Monica, CA, with Pacific Rx Networks, LLC as both their Chief Marketing Officer and their Chief Operating Officer. He started in 2012 after moving from Orange County, where he had been working with local online deal provider CrowdCrave.com.

With Pacific Rx Networks, Mike is responsible for the overall business development, marketing, and execution of a wide range of integrated health benefits, as well as related discount medical services and plans. In addition, Lallana is also responsible for overseeing the rebranding and deployment of Health Matrix Direct’s new Prescription Assistance Program, which is slated to go online sometime during the fall of 2013.

Michael is also in charge of several key partnerships and other business relationships on which the company depends. For instance, he has helped to foster relationships between Health Matrix Direct and all major pharmaceutical provider chains across the United States. This in turn led to these pharmacy chains accepting Health Matrix Direct’s Patient Assistance Program, which resulted in more than 300,000 new enrollments just within the first year and a half of company operations.

Outside of work, Michael Lallana is a dedicated family man with a very tight-knit family. Almost every weekend, the Lallana family holds a family get-together, which he always enjoys. He also enjoys spending time with his daughter, particularly when he can take her on trips to Disneyland, a favorite destination from his own childhood.

Lallana is also an avid sports fan, particularly of the Los Angeles Dodgers, USC Trojans, and Los Angeles Lakers. He supports college football at his old university by holding season pass tickets, and frequently enjoys golfing all across Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County.
Michael Lallana was born in Southern California, where he grew up and has lived for his whole life. As a young boy, Mike developed an intense interest in sports on multiple fronts. He was always a very active child, and as such joined several youth sports programs, including both little league baseball, basketball, golf, and soccer. He was also a big fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers Major League Baseball team, and as such attended their home games as often as he could.

Living in Southern California also meant that Michael Lallana made frequent childhood visits to Disneyland, the world-famous theme park operated out of Anaheim, CA by the Walt Disney Company. This sparked an interest in Disney in young Michael that would go on to shape key parts of his education, career, and private family life.


Lallana graduated from Whitney High School, a 21st Century National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, and then went on to enroll with the University of Southern California. Here Michael held multiple internships, including one with the University of Southern California Executive Masters of Business Administration Program that he held for all four of his years at the university. Michael’s interest in Disney also led him to two different Disney internships: one with The Walt Disney Company and one with Walt Disney Imagineering.

Michael Lallana gained several distinctions throughout his time at the University of Southern California. He got his name on the Dean’s List and joined a couple of major organizations within his university.

The first was the University of Southern California Troy Philippines, a cultural organization dedicated to increasing awareness of Filipino culture and addressing issues throughout the overall Filipino community. Here Michael served as the co-treasurer and also helped with the group’s annual event as a Pilipino-American Cultural Night (PACN) coordinator. Later on, after his graduation, he also became an alumni mentor with the organization.

The second of Michael’s university organizations was the National Professional Business Fraternity at the University of Southern California, Delta Sigma Pi. This co-ed professional business organization is one of the largest in the United States and dedicated to the fostering of business studies throughout the country’s universities. Here Michael held the role of Associate Pledge Educator.

Just after the turn of the new millennium, he finally graduated from the University of Southern California with his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from USC’s Marshall School of Business with a dual emphasis in both Information Systems and Entrepreneurship.

Michael’s Work Experience

Immediately upon his graduation, Michael joined the business consulting company Price Waterhouse Coopers, which would later go on to be bought out by IBM to become IBM Business Consulting Services. Here Mike held the position of Management Consultant, which included spearheading a team of five quality assurance personnel. With the help of this team, Lallana performed operations and system testing on the financial reporting software and applications that were used by the company’s upper level management.

Michael was also responsible for the successful implementation of data warehouses to store business process reporting applications, which helped solve many Y2K conversion issues for a variety of high profile companies. These benefitted companies include Intel Corporation, Informatica Corporation, Genentech, Toyota Financial Services, and State Farm Insurance.

In 2003, Michael Lallana left Price Waterhouse Coopers after three years to join the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, a prominent Fortune 500 financial company. He began his position with them in San Francisco but, during his seven years of employment, eventually ended up in Newport Beach, CA.

Throughout these seven years, he held the titles of both Financial Representative and Field Director. In this position, Michael increased his personal practice revenue and client base by an average of 15 percent every year by utilizing customized financial planning strategies to resolve the financial deficiency issues that his clients faced around investments and insurance. In addition, Lallana was responsible for teaching and mentoring new hire training classes in such areas as customer relationship management (or CRM) software and needs based financial planning solutions, including plans for such areas as life and disability insurance, retirement, college education, and investment portfolio management.

Michael Lallana also received several noteworthy distinctions while working for the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. These include such achievements as obtaining his Series 6 and Series 63 Securities Licenses and his Life Insurance License, which are applicable in the states of Hawaii, Nevada, and California.

Michael also received two different awards from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, or NAIFA. The first was the National Sales Achievement Award, which was awarded to him in recognition of the outstanding quality of his sales achievements with the company. The second was the National Quality Award, which recognized his overall outstanding quality, including his ethical conduct and his dedication.

Finally, Lallana was admitted to the Leadership through Education, Achievement, and Development Program, or the LEAD Program for short. This is an exclusive training curriculum available only to the top 10 percent of producing financial representatives. Even then, admittance into the program is through invitation only. Michael, however, not only qualified for the LEAD Program but went on to become a graduate of it.

Eventually, in the year 2010, Michael Lallana left Newport Beach and his position with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network to join CrowdCrave.com, an online source for local deals on goods, services, and events.

With CrowdCrave, Michael became both a Business Developer and a Competitive Analyst. He helped the company to increase its subscriber base by 20 percent within just three months through the development of a fundraising program that helped to establish partnerships between nonprofit charity organizations, school districts in Orange County, and many local businesses. This was in addition to his regular duties, which included facilitating the expansion of the deals that the company offered with both the company’s subscriber base and the local merchant population.

Finally, in 2011, after a year with CrowdCrave.com, Michael Lallana joined Pacific Rx Networks to become both their Chief Operating Officer and their Chief Marketing Officer – two positions which Mike still holds to this day.
Michael Lallana plans on continuing his work with Pacific Rx Networks, LLC as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. He has recently completed his work rebranding the company’s Prescription Assistance Program and will soon be overseeing its deployment sometime within the next month. He has high hopes for the program and looks forward to seeing it come online.

In addition, Lallana also recently founded his own company in 2012. His new company, Mila Venture Group, Inc., describes itself as a strategic “business accelerator” marketing firm. He currently serves the company as Founder, President, and CEO.

With Mila Venture Group, Michael has already begun to help their business clients achieve higher levels of business growth through the implementation of operational consulting and strategic business planning. According to Lallana, Mila Venture Group brings a pragmatic mindset to the most complex business problems that their clients experience. They then work side by side with these clients throughout the entire process, from strategy development to implementation.

Mila Venture Group’s capabilities for business strategy span the areas of corporate and business unit strategy, marketing, and sales. Their operational capabilities are reflective of the many unique issues that commonly face infrastructure operations, service businesses, and early stage companies.
