careers of music producers and recording artists. Geffen advanced the career of the Trackboyz, the Grammy nominated production team responsible for Nelly's Air Force Ones and Nappy Roots' Po' Folks. J-Kwon, the first signing to their production company, reached #2 on Billboard's Hot 100 and #1 on rap charts with his debut single “Tipsy,” which sold over 2 million copies. The album exceeded sales of 1 million units. Geffen partnered with Trackboyz for an imprint label at Island Def Jam Music Group, one of the first to be signed by LA Reid.
D12 was Jeremy Geffen Management’s next success story. The group sold more than 7.5 million albums worldwide and enjoyed well attended national and international tours until the untimely death of Proof, the anchor of the group and the man whom Eminem credits for his own success. Academy Award winning act Three Six Mafia was also under the JGM banner.
