Jay Hart doesn't have any reviews yet
A long-time security and telecommunications professional, Jay Hart is the co-owner of MCAlert.net. Which is a security company based out of Florida with clients including Bruce Springsteen, Bill Gates, and many more.
A professional with years of experience in both security and telecommunications, Jay Hart currently serves as the co-owner of MCAlert.net. This company offers a unique, Web-based platform that allows users to receive emergency information via text message or email. These alerts keep users updated on all major happenings or emergencies within the community-from upcoming parties to fires and natural disasters, missing pets or lost children. There is a community administrator appointed who can send out updates over the Web, which are then sent to community members either in text or email form.
There are other services similar to MCAlert.net, but he says the company is unique for a couple of reasons. For one thing, the administrator can send photos and videos in their messages-which is helpful when alerting community members to be on the lookout for, say, a stray pet. The Internet-based platform makes it easy for the administrator to send a message to anywhere from 50 to 100,000 people at a time, and the platform is easily accessible via tablet, phone, and desktop.
Jay Hart is proud of the work that he and his MCAlert.net team are doing. He says the key to the brand's success is its strong product and the way it empowers users to get information out as quickly and efficiently as possible. The product is increasingly popular in gated communities, but it is also transitioning into use in schools and stadiums. He is nothing if not passionate about seeing this unique product put to use in myriad ways.
Jay Hart is zealous for protecting people, for easing their security and their communication, and ultimately for ensuring strong communities. He has proven this zeal in a number of ways over the years. Most notably, perhaps, Hart has served as a Police Officer, ultimately working his way to the rank of Captain. More recently, he has provided innovative community security and communication services via MCAlert.net, a company that he also co-owns.
To this important and noble work, Jay Hart brings an impressive educational background. A long-time Florida resident, he grew up in Illinois and attended Danville Area Community College, where he received an Associate of Arts degree in 1984. Then, in 1987, he graduated from the Police Academy in Lake Worth, Florida, as a basic recruit.
From there, Jay devoted himself to hard work in the field of law enforcement for a number of years. A full decade later, in 1997, he obtained his next big educational honor, winning a certification from The Public Safety Institute at the University of North Florida, located in Orlando. He specialized in Illicit Gambling, Bookmaking, and Loan Sharking Investigation.
A year later, Jay received forensic technique training at the Department of the Treasury in Glynco, Georgia. The same year, he completed a Drug Enforcement Seminar in Ft. Lauderdale, where he focused on Undercover Survival. The achievements kept coming from there, as he also completed special training from the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of the Treasury alike.
In 1999, Jay Hart received an Advanced Training Certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency, focused on Narcotics Identification and Investigation. This training was completed at the University of Florida, in Gainesville. The same year found him completing an Introduction to Financial Crimes unit at the Miami Beach Police Department.
Clearly an accomplished police officer with a passion for advancing his knowledge and expanding his skills, Jay went on to complete further Pubic Safety Institute work in 2000. The following year, he completed a course in Instructor Techniques at Broward Community College.
Throughout all of this, Jay was also achieving at a high level in his professional life. He started his career as a deputy sheriff, focused on road patrol services, from 1987 through 1992. From there he went on to spend a year in the PBSO Mounted Unit, and then advanced through such ranks as Corporal, Field Training Officer, Agent, Lieutenant, District Commander, Executive Officer, and ultimately Captain. Hart has also chaired a number of police committees, including the Fallen Officer Memorial Ceremonies committee in Palm Beach County.
Throughout the course of his police career, Hart received a number of noteworthy awards. He was honored as Deputy of the Month a total of four times between 1988 and 1994. In 1994, he also received the honor of Field Training Officer/Corporal of the Month.
Jay Hart loves law enforcement and is passionate about public safety and security, but he has also had a longstanding interest in business ownership. He took some significant steps toward pursuing this interest in 2004, when he graduated from Barry University, in the Miami Shores area, with a Bachelors of Professional Studies. Two years later, he won his MBA from Lynn University, in Boca Raton.
Today, Jay Hart combines his passions for security with his zeal for law enforcement. He does so primarily through his role at MCAlert.net. The company provides a unique product to communities throughout Florida and the rest of the country, allowing them to keep members up to date on happenings, news events, and security concerns-all through text and email. The product is easy to use, and allows communities to maximize their communication efforts, both for convenience and for safety.
In many ways, the product feels like the culmination of all of Hart's experiences and his passions. It's what he was born to do, and he relishes the opportunity to lead the company forward.
What will the future bring for Jay Hart? It is impossible for him, or anyone else, to predict tomorrow with any certainty. With that said, he certainly has his share of goals and objectives, both personally and professionally. More than anything else, he hopes to continue enhancing the security in communities across the country, continuing to develop the MCAlert.net product line and increase its use in different contexts.
In fact, one of his primary goals is to lead the company toward national prestige. He is looking to expand the MCAlert.net service area to include not just gated communities, but also schools, stadiums, and sporting events. Ultimately, Jay Hart hopes for his company to have as wide a reach, and to help as many people, as possible.
Of course, Jay also hopes that the MCAlert.net product continues to see use in other contexts, including within the gated communities where it has become so popular. The product has proven highly advantageous for communities looking to quickly and easily spread the word about pool closings, missing dogs, road paving, telephone or power outages, board meetings, parties, functions, broken gates, and, of course, security breaches.
Hart also has some more personal goals and objectives. As a Police Captain, his goal is always to achieve the very best and to move forward as much as possible. He hopes to continue deepening and expanding his knowledge of telecommunications, and ultimately to find new ways to improve safety and communication for as many people as he can.
