Chad Nevins was born is Liberal Kansas and began his work with nonprofits at the age of 12 with his first of three trips to Costa Rica. The visits were a faith-based / medical mission with a family run nonprofit organization. With his father, a medical doctor delivering much needed medical attention out of a local Red Cross building, Chad served the local community in a variety of areas. He moved to Arizona to complete his Bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. His professional career began working in the financial services industry; with time spend at firms like Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Edward Jones Investments.
In 2011, Chad returned to his passion and began working at the Union Rescue Mission in Kansas. There, he developed programs designed to reengage the men utilizing the shelter services to facilitate finding the men gainful employment. The program is a continued success and at its core, shares the conviction of the Foundation for C.H.O.I.C.E., to give a “hand up” not a “hand out”.
Chad is currently working at the United Way of Tarrant County as Grant Compliance Coordinator. At the Foundation for C.H.O.I.C.E., he will be working alongside the executive team and the Board of Directors to establish key relationships with foundations and grant-making institutions

Chad is currently the Grant Compliance Analyst for the United Way of Tarrant County responsible for providing a variety of fiscal related support and contract accounting functions. Chad is in charge of contract reimbursement for consortium members and conducts desk reviews and monitoring to inspect policies and procedures for compliance with regulations, and grant guidance. He is also actively involved in grant writing and grant management. He currently holds a board position with the Foundation for CHOICE (www.foundationforchoice.org) and is a volunteer with the Oxford House Inc. Chad currently lives in Fort Worth Texas and enjoys sports, church, playing guitar, and spending time with family.
After graduating Suma Cum Laude from Arizona State University, Chad entered the financial services industry with the investment firm Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, Chad was awarded the "National Sales Director" award building a book of clientele holding over $28,000,000 during his first year as an adviser.
Chad then started his own firm specializing in group benefits and health plans. And grew his business from a single producer to over 85 producing agents and $3,500,000 in annual revenue.
In 2011 Chad began his transition into the nonprofit arena working at the Union Rescue Mission in Wichita, KS. Beginning as an intake associate he quickly began developing ideas and programs to serve the local homeless population. Designing and implementing a program designed to reengage chronically homeless men back into the workforce, these programs became life-changing experiences for many men in the Wichita area.
The future has many opportunities. Only limited by our imagination. Chad continues to dedicate his financial and professional expertise to the Nonprofit sector and is focused on project management and funding strategies for nonprofit organizations. His compassion and passion for social and Christian programs and services serve as motivation for Chad. He hopes to continue this line of work by developing relationships with organizations and individuals in the Fort Worth area that share this same passion. He hopes to one day be in a position of Executive Director of a nonprofit organization where his skills and unquestioned passion can be fully utilized.
