Prejudice hiring practices As a Hispanic, I have only had 2 instances of feeling hated because of race and this was one of them. I made it almost all the way through the hiring process until I met the maintenance manager and he started by asking some uncomfortable questions. He then proceeded to treat me as though I was less of a human being than he was. He then said his goodbyes and never gave me a second thought. Even though I am qualified for the position, I didn't have a chance with him because of my race. I was born this way and proud of it! You sir are no better than me! As I left, I couldn't help but notice the "lack of diversity".
