It's a sales job -it's a sales job. You'll spend most of your day on the phone cold calling the same leads multiple times and then emailing those same leads. There is no commission pay. In addition to daily calls and emails you will be expected to book and schedule community events. -poor management from corporate. No clear reasoning behind business decisions. No data or reasoning to back up mo thly quota goals. No solutions for issues you will face. Also communication is very poor. They will also make empty promises of upward mobility just to get more work out of you. - as an AD you will be expected to do the same job as a director despite a very large wage gap between the roles. -schedule is atrocious. Be prepared to work every weekend and late into weekdays. Work life balance is poor especially for the assistant director role, who's schedule is made by director. I missed many planned events with family and friends because I had to work a last second school event. -the pay is disgustingly low for a position where you are expected to market the school, manage the School, teach private lessons, teach group classes, lead birthday parties, record bands in a studio, plan local events, get gear to the local events, perform in public, and more. Also no overtime is offered but you will be expected to work more than 40 hours a week.
