Avoid this company If you are not on the project facing client you will be on your own e-mailing HR to give you an opportunity to work with the client. That may take a lot of time, when in meantime you will have "small internal jobs to do", which does not count from top leadership perspective (no immediate $$ generators to feed company). So every day of waiting will put you in a weaker position, which may become a reason to let you go. Yes, you do not have a choice to change that if there is not enough projects for everybody. Recommendation: Contact other former employees before an interview to hear their perspective about the status of the company. I would not be surprised if same current people from very top would purely lie to you.
