Ray Costa

Abusive and disorganized environment Ray is an incredibly difficult man to work for. Aside from the daily yelling and cursing at you, he is extremely disorganized and has no system in place, despite having the company for over 20 years. Tells you that he "absolutely needs to see everything" before it gets sent out, but also says that he doesn't want to have to hold your hand or micromanage you, making it pretty impossible for you to make him happy. His direction is SUPER unclear and he wastes so much time getting off topic, talking about his personal life, which makes everyone uncomfortable. Yes, entertainment PR is a cut throat high-pressure industry, but Ray is exceptionally difficult. Case in point, not including interns, he regularly only has two employees in his office at a time. Just in the past year, five employees have left (three quit, two were fired.) I recommend that you just don't even start working for him. I and other former employees who I've spoken to honestly feel scarred from the verbal abuse that took place in this office.
