Avoid at all costs. The entire business undermines anyone and everyone while preaching this idea that we're appreciated to the highest degree. This company completely goes against it's mission statement of "wanting everyone to pursue what makes them happy," by forcing people to work long hours with below industry standard pay, overworking their employees by throwing task after task onto them with little to no time to complete everything in a given day and claims that they want to promote "5-star customer service and care" to their patients while simultaneously pumping new evaluations and patients to Physical Therapists with no regard to who or who may not need more attention from the therapists. Leadership is sorely lacking in all fronts and promotes a huge "yes" mentality to even the most ridiculous requests from patients. Not once have I seen a regional director, clinical director or assistant clinical director show any sort of initiative to stand by their employees when patients are in the wrong. They claim they want to see all their employees grow, but they show no incentive for that to happen. Growth for PT technicians and Care Coordinators virtually does not exist. They have all the resources to allow people to learn more about the industry and healthcare field, but fails to connect aspiring students with any of their hundreds of physician connections. SPEAR PT doesn't even pay their therapists for continuing education courses that are deemed mandatory for the new therapists for their first year with SPEAR, forcing PTs to be in a work environment from 7AM to 6:30-7PM. SPEAR PT doesn't even value employees with very sought after specializations in the field itself, paying individuals who specialize in pelvic floor therapy and so on, pennies in comparison to what they should be paid. HR has no sense of empathy for employees who are dealing with life altering situations and force employees to use PTO vacation days for sick days. There's no such thing as paid sick leave for ANYONE. This company would rather use money to force growth in the company as opposed to making sure that their employees are happy with the compensation being given. This is shown by the fact that they've opened 4 new clinics within 2019 alone, while boasting to employees that they've spent thousands of dollars on gifts during their annual holiday party to show how much we were "appreciated."
