AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS Most employees hate working here and they will gladly tell you if you ask them privately. Do some research! The executive team only cares about how much money you can make them each and every day. They only talk to each other or their best buddies, which are a handful of people who can bully whoever they want to and get away with it. Meanwhile, the editorial team lacks a strong leader and if you try to have a conversation with them they will stare into their computers and never look at you once. Some middle managers use that to their advantage and run the rest of the team with absolutely no management skills or training. Some of them are also completely ignorant towards other departments and withhold important information on purpose. Same story for the sales leadership team - they don't know how to manage people so everyone on the sales team literally screams at each other in every single meeting. Some sales team members act inappropriately or do things that would get them fired at any other company but as long as they make the executive team money, they get away with it. They hired a digital, marketing and events team but these departments completely dissolved within months and nobody knows what that means for the company in the long run. The people on these teams came and changed a lot of things in here and then just left and everyone else now needs to pick up where they have left off on top of handling their own tasks. When management got rid of everyone on these teams they sent us remaining employees an email with a list of names and if ours wasn't on it we should believe that we are 'safe' - sounded like a cruel reality TV show to me... The design team is absolutely overworked, understaffed and underpaid. The research team is a bunch of underpaid freelancers who nobody interacts with and most people don't even know their names or what they do. Also, stay away from HR cause they only worry about avoiding issues that the executive team either started themselves or neglected for too long. There are no transparent or fair policies in place either. They also ask employees to leave great reviews on Glassdoor so that's why you find reviews like 'this is a real review' on here. Company Culture People don't greet each other and some run a little mean girls club and constantly gossip about other colleagues in their group chats. The leadership team knows about this behavior but simply doesn't care. Management fires people on the spot without giving the team a heads-up and the ones that stay behind get forced to take on all the extra work - do your research and you will find that some people with little work experience and no management skills run entire departments. Most people in here are constantly looking for a new job cause they are scared they will lose theirs or they simply cannot stand working here any longer.
