Owner will not find a GM so he micromanages everything. He has spoken down to every employee in such disrespectful ways, including the special needs worker, which most of his employees are just used to being treated that way. However, often will see them hiding out in bathrooms or out back to avoid him. He has reallocated tips from the tip pool to his wife who does nothing but makes mistakes and blames them on other people. He has sold every on-boarding employee with a wage that was a high sales week and includes tips. That pay rarely happens, and should not be expected. He does not understand the difference in wages paid by employer versus tips earned by customers, so your pay will always be capped, and he will expect you to work to tips expected rather than wages paid. He promises one position, but slowly slides you into a lower paying role so that he caps your pay, yet another way. He will accept orders in the middle of the night and never communicate them to his staff that needs to know, then blames them for barely making it out on time. Owner and wife get in confrontations and miscommunications all over the store and then takes it out on hourly employees.
