Don't Do It irrelevant, checked out owners who treat the place as a cash cow young designers are hired with inadequate experience and are thrown into the deep end with little to no help/mentorship which leads to very high turnover no one is interested in new ideas, just doing the same old same old creative directors basically run the operation and are more like glorified project managers you will be expected to work lots of overtime and not get compensated for it no one here seems to be able to manage client expectations and you the designer will pay the price with long hours proposals are written with unrealistic timelines and budgets. Again you the designer will pay the price with unpaid overtime no one here cares if you stay or go there are a lot of great design firms in NYC where you won?t get taken advantage of do yourself a favor, before taking a job there, reach out to former employees on Linkedin.
