Don't Get Comfortable While it is important to place people in the roles they have available, they only do it out of necessity, not because they think you'd be a great fit. If you mention to them jobs you see they have listed- it's likely they will tell you that you are unqualified instead of hearing you out. Most of these positions are entry level and if you do find a job with them- you will find it is very incestuous, practically everyone who works there got their job from Antrim. Bottom line, they will find you a job, but you wont necessarily like it, and it won't be because they believe you're a good fit. They care more about the client than the candidate- which is understandable, but only to a degree. For a lot of these roles, they will have back-ups ready to go as a fail-safe which if you ask me, says a lot about how much they value the people they're placing. If you show little interest in a job, they will tell you "Well, it's this or nothing." There are some wonderful agencies out there who really care about their candidates- look for them, don't go here.
