I was a full-time employee for less than a year. Management has completely unrealistic expectations in terms of workload and employee compensation. All of my colleagues worked late nearly every night of the week after management had left for the day. This was especially maddening after finding out what little compensation employees received. It was so far from industry standards that it was completely unreasonable and in some cases seemed illegal. I understand the challenges of startups but this company lacks stability, vision, and real leadership from management. This became completely obvious when half of the current staff was fired, one employee walked out, and another resigned, leaving one employee left. All of which took place in less than two month period. Management was often disrespectful, condescending and lacks appreciation for its employees. The office atmosphere is very serious and intense, and unable to provide adequate heating (sub 65? temperatures).
