No paid sick time No paid sick time. If you need to take a day off because you are ill, you must use your vacation time. If you do not have any accrued vacation time, you will be unpaid. This policy has not been revised in light of the covid pandemic. It should be noted that at the time of this review, almost all BioTrust employees are working from home due to the pandemic. BioTrust waited until the county school system closed before giving employees this option. However, in non-pandemic times, only upper management is allowed to work from home when they are ill. The average employee is required to use vacation time or go unpaid if they cannot physically come into the office due to illness.
