The only word for the org is terrible The office space was disgusting to work in. In fact, it was unsafe for people to leave at night and had multiple deliveries stolen.The job has been turned over three or four times in a matter of 14 months. This is a cautionary tale for anyone thinking that they know what they are doing. The national staff pretend like they have any idea about the regions when they don't and think small constantly in how they raise funds and count metrics. Is giving someone a pot for their apartment really ending systematic homelessness?The development staff, especially those working with the running races, are pushy and rude constantly causing donors to be disappointed and having to reach out to their local staffs (programming and development) to solve.Their year to year turn over rate is in the 40-50% range. That is a glaring red flag that their is a problem with vision, management and knowing what you should do.This organization would have folded if it hadn't been showcased on CNN and had a few corporate partners like Bimbo Bakeries, Cigna, Marriott and Accenture (who is only a part of it because the original founder worked there) who knew the original founder.
