Trust these 1 Star reviews. They are written from true experience. Jobs are short term because investment firm owns company and is getting ready to flip and make the sale. If you want short term employment and don?t mind instability and working for men who need to make their fiscal goals so they can renew their golf club membership and pay for their children?s boarding school tuition, then the cons won?t affect you. Other cons- bonuses no longer offered, holiday party no longer offered, team building and offsite activities no longer offered, raises are 2% a year but not guaranteed , advancement/ promotion no longer available, expense checks are delayed and you pay for traveling costs out of pocket up front. The investment firm is not in this for anything other than money so you don?t want to get too attached. Lay offs are never off the table even if you?re told you are the team/person they want. New employees- you will feel energized and excited at first. It?s a new job managing well-known brands in a highly exposed industry. It will feel good, and it should. But, soon reality will hit. Make sure you take care of yourself and your needs first. They are manipulative, will pump you up and make you think you are driving the ship. Remember this, the last wave of laid off people also thought they were driving the ship and were told they were the dream team 3 months before they were axed and thrown overboard.
