You won't stay long Place is very understaffed and turnover is high. Most people leave within 1-2 years. Clinical staff (nurses, social workers) is overworked and overbooked. You almost never get to leave on time, as appointments run well past the allotted time and you still have to stay and finished documenting (or risk being in trouble the next day). On weekends, there is usually only 1 nurse scheduled for 20+ or 25+ patients and patients end up frustrated, waiting for hours. Very hard to spend quality time with patients and provide high quality patient care, as management only seems to care about getting as many patients in through the door as possible ($$$). Many times patients clearly not suitable for outpatient detox, who should have been referred inpatient, were accepted anyways. Lots of safety issues were observed during my time there. Management is very difficult to work with and to openly communicate with.
