A mess If you're looking for stability, go elsewhere. If you're looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact at a small company, go elsewhere. If you're looking for career advancement, go elsewhere. This is a small company with big enterprise politics. It felt like a couple of entitled guys that want to play startup and have people work under them. There's no direction, you'll pretty much exist to make the founders look good, and a lot of the work completed by you and your team will never see the light of day. You'll probably be working near the CEO and COO every day. The COO comes from a mid-manager level position at a large company, so the title of co-founder and the fact that he has an MBA has given him the (clich?) first-time founder power trip. It's annoying, so be prepped to hear someone tell you that they're right just because they have a degree. CEO is an idealist and creative type so he's always cooking up new ideas and not providing direction to follow through ? this affected product, marketing, and sales on various occasions. If you do choose to interview for a position at Butterfly, ask them about their turnover. Ask how the team has changed in the past 2 years and why those decisions needed to be made.
