I've worked in the Customer Service Department for about 2 years.
Management is not honest or forthright with lower management (leads). They don't assist leads to their full ability and they complain about any of us that bring up issues. The leads are required to answer all the phone queues. Complete all the special projects and assist all the other representatives with questions or issues. It seems that the managers require the leads to do all the work for them while they search the internet all day and answer authorization calls (the lowest tier of calls). And WEX the company that bought out EFS will not assist us in complaints about our managers. Communication is not a priority, and it seems that the managers do not want to assist when problems arise either. It's not a surprise that people do not want to stay there.
