Looks good on the surface, but the management is insane. Very fractured management system, with nothing in between the owner and the customer-facing staff members. Turnover was high (someone quitting every week or so), and any training (barista training etc.) rarely happened. 'Older' staff were expected to manage newer staff, and there was the constant, looming threat that the owner will lose his temper and shout at us (Many stories circulated about these incidents). High turnover also meant very erratic hours, and for my first couple months I was working 6 or 7 days in a row. All this, not to mention the flagrant health & safety violations that routinely happen there. The whole time I was there there suspiciously was no Hygiene Star rating on the entrance.
