No It is hard to understand how or why this place keeps going. Staff turnover is outrageous but understandable if you work here. GBC-Ed has no real mission, plan, or values and everything is task or event driven. The ED is also President of Theirworld in the UK and you never see him even though it is a really small team. Essentially GBC-Ed is really just here to get money from corporations to support the agenda of Sarah Brown and her husband Gordon Brown former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. This seems cool at first and you get to meet them everything is always changing, always in crisis, and never follows any clear logic or plan. When you speak to people outside the organization who focus on just education they say different projects and events of Theirworld and GBC-Ed really just make everything in education even more fragmented and less likely to get more children in school. I used to think they meant well so what could you do but now I think they should know that their overall impact is probably negative.
