NOT in the same boat Management is super top heavy - positions that could be cut but won't because of the previous "work relationships" with these people. People that shouldn't be on payroll is still on payroll. CEO and other upper management people are rarely ever in the office - apparently "working from home". They care more about themselves than the resources that come in everyday to do their job. Changes have not been positive lately. CEO says we're on the right track but lacks the evidence and ends up "reinvesting" what the resources should be getting which in turn makes them leave the company with a sour taste in their mouth. Other opportunities are almost non-existent due to "new positions" being located elsewhere.
