Stay far away even if you're desperate
Almost everything -- from having to chauffeur your boss around at all hours off and on the clock, to having to deal with his neurotic wife who isn't an attorney but thinks she is and that she knows more than you. There's a reason they run through associates, no one can stand being there for more than a few weeks. To top it off they pay you 40k a year and expect the one associate to handle a firm's caseload while the principal attorney golf's through the summer, "networks" (Yeah right), and prints shirts with the firm's name on it all. If you're a young attorney you don't want to "learn" at this firm. 11th hour backroom deals are the norm and if the client doesn't accept or is unsatisfied the attorney asks to be removed as counsel. It's lazy lawyering 101. Clients are literally sitting in jail having never met their attorney or been represented by him but he's their attorney. This attorney constantly makes borderline racist and crude remarks towards women. Run don't put your law license in jeopardy.
