Micromanaged and dysfunctional company This environment is the most challenging experience I have had in my work career. There is no structure in management. There is no collaboration and every department is micromanaged by a forgetful CEO. Every department is put together with duck tape and last minute planning. Every person is always trying to put out a fire rather then be proactive and because the CEO is so cheap, there is no investment to the well being of the staff or providing them tools to succeed. Unless the person is favored, the majority of the staff is underpaid and overworked. Multiple projects are put on your desk with the unrealistic expectations of getting it done based on the perception of the CEO. The health benefits are poor and you are not allowed to contribute to 401k unless being with the company for a year. There is no Vision and no other perks offered to employees for work/life balance. The most important based on opinion is the lack of tools to make you successful in your job and lack of job training for success in your current career or to acquire skills for any possible promotion. The facility is an eye sore and uncomfortable and the company is not investing to purchase equipment that will benefit the staff. they go for the cheapest possible choice. If you are willing to go through the stress, the only benefit to working here is to see how much you can handle and be pushed to the limit and how to make the impossible..... slightly possible. In a work environment you are always going to find yourself in times when you have to put out fires. but when it's constant and disorganized with no trust from the CEO that you can handle it on your own and make decisions that would help the company, then you put yourself in a position that will be emotionally exhausted, frustrated, and discouraged.
