I don't get paid enough for any of this they started me off at $11/hr in 2018 when minimum wage is about $13.25. When this was brought up, I was told it's legal because I get tips. However, the tips are claimed and taxed on my paycheck and most of the time the tips are just not very good (about $25-40 at the end of a usual 8 hour closing shift) Hypocritical a bit since a lot of their "mission" is about how good they are compared to other chains like Starbucks and Gregory's but then do things like argue with their employees about living wage If you have closing or opening in your availability, you're probably never going to have any type of flexibility. I was one out of two closers at my store and they had no problem scheduling me to work 2-11pm 5 days a week. Management is not very effective. Schedules would come out Saturday or sometimes Sunday night so people wouldn't even know if they have work on Monday. The way of dealing with conflict between employees is terrible. When I complained about the way a supervisor was treating me, their response was to constantly schedule me with that supervisor as their subordinate and see how it would "play out"
