Toxic Environment and Cut-Through Culture Enforced by Management I started here on a relatively new team, as the company had stripped the old sales team and was attempting to rebuild. I noticed quickly what a toxic environment I had entered, but I, along with many of my coworkers, was in no place to be picky due to the COVID-19 economic downturn. The company made cuts on a weekly basis, many times to individuals who were in complete shock when finding out they were the ones on the chopping block. Each employee who is laid off has a 5 minute meeting put on their calendar, giving no time for any questions, concerns, off-boarding, or constructive criticism. None of the terminated employees receive any sort of severance or benefits guide, even after requesting. The company culture is cut-throat to say the least, and the employees are treated like nothing but a number to upper management. There is little to no room for improvement- as soon as your numbers start to decline your performance is under a microscope. I would advise anyone to rethink their decision before joining a company with such blatant disregard for their employees.
