Worst Experience One Could Have (Seriously!) I truly think the only reason they've survived this long and been able to get away with treating people the way they do is they take advantage of the fact that most people are young and right out of college. I REALLY wish I took the Glassdoor reviews more seriously before agreeing to work there but I didn't think it would be as bad as it was (I assumed it was just your stereotypical overworking/underpaying fashion job, which I was willing to put up with if that was the case), but it was actually quite an unhealthy work environment. I am not right out of college and have been working in fashion for a while so I am aware of what's acceptable/normal and what's not. It's not in my nature to just "quit" something but I had to leave for my mental sanity and I do not regret it one bit! Aside from being overworked, having no opportunities for career advancement and the extremely high turnover, I also do not believe with their moral values. I've heard the CEO talk poorly to others about people in the company and I found it very strange for her to create a culture of gossiping about others. It was also quite normal for her to scream at people regardless of if someone did something right or wrong depending on her mood (she would often yell at someone for doing something that she specifically told them to do and forgot she asked them to do it). I also did not like the way they treated outside contractors/freelancers or vendors as well, which I will not get into the specifics of. They are set in their ways and they are never going to change. Please keep this in mind when applying because I wish I took all the written reviews more seriously (I also highly suggest reaching out to others on LinkedIn who have worked there or currently do to get their opinion on this because I guarantee everyone will say the same thing if they worked in the corporate offices). Also my understanding from talking to others who have worked there in the past is that it has gotten worse over the years. No one deserves this!
