Sexism still exists.... PayScale can remove reviews from here all they want but internet still works
Fascinating that a previous review has to qualify with "real review from a current employee". As if they need to double down on qualifying why their opinion matters more than the many who have posted why they have left. On top of that, the person who posted that review remains singularly focused on their feelings being hurt as opposed to the many who have posted around the dysfunction that is in the bloodstream of PayScale. That mentality personifies why so many former and current employees have negative feelings about the company ."Poor me, poor me, poor me? You are criticizing a company I work for! Poor me!" It showcases why they will never uplevel in terms of revenues, staff, any other metric that matters to investors or build something that customers will pay significant dollars for. The focus is on individual hurt feelings as opposed to running a professional organization. And let's marginalize the people who are not having an awesome experience at the company. More Kool-Aid anyone? But at least you have the CEO's son and his buddy to save the day as interns! CEO hires his son and buddy to intern at PayScale. That is an excellent message to send when you just laid off a boatload of folks and current staff KNOW more are coming. Pro move. CTO's sensitivity rivals Donald Trump. Anyone says anything negative, he complains to HR who then complains to GD. He is sexist and says creepy things to women. The good news is that women in tech in Seattle is a pretty tight group so the word is getting out about him and his love of his wonder boys. CFO alienated all high performers who just decided to get up and leave. Customer Success still a mess. Promote the incompetent fangirls. Sales are awful. The good ones are leaving. Q2 numbers will be a disaster that they will blame on COVID. Any good salesperson candidate will ask about numbers pre-COVID and success against comp plans of past.
