Unprofessional Not exciting. Brand is just coasting and relying on certain styles to make sales. Was laid off during the pandemic after being an employee for over three years without a major explanation, except a former co-worker was telling me some gossip was being thrown around the HQ. Even after that, I was reaching out saying I'm willing to work when they decide to reopen but I was ignored. Pretty harsh after being a loyal employee for so many years. The store I worked at also was seeing $0 on multiple days and we were the ones to blame, but our location and lack of promotion, fun window designs, and boring promo pics that have been reused for five years was really to blame. The marketing is so bland but they refuse to spend any extra money to keep things exciting. Every day seemed very robotic and repetitive with barely anyone even knowing what the brand was even though our store has been around for years. Days were spent cleaning glasses no one was trying on and telling people what Illesteva was before they decided to walk out.
