It was good until it wasn?t Compassion & Choices has taken a turn for the worse. Despite being a medium sized organization the CEO has loaded up her executive office with expensive positions and gives preference for friends in her hiring. The CEO often hires and promotes managers who are extremely volatile, and don?t do much besides manage managers. At a recent staff retreat, a session was on "Promoting Your CEO." A lot of the glowing positive reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. The CEO put pressure on employees to write them.
