Avoid...horrible! Where do I start? 1. Pay is horrible. Straight commission. You will make around minimum wage. No real bonuses. You might make an extra $200/month in bonus if you hit a certain goal. One time those who made their sales goals were given reindeer ears to wear at the sales meeting. Management conducting the meeting insisted they were worn. 2. Unpaid trainings and meetings. Mandatory meetings monthly that are often on weekends and require overnight travel. These days are unpaid and usually 12-14 hours. 3. Mileage reimbursement barely covers gas. 4. Management...management was immature, unprofessional, ill-tempered, and emotionally ill-equipped to manage people. Often said racist, inappropriate, and offensive things, including referring to the CEO as a "shyster". Offered no support to struggling employees. I complained on several occasions to HR. Many employees have, but the company continues to do nothing about it. In general, if you don't kiss up and are friends with management, you will be picked on. Different sets of rules for different employees that are decided on a whim. 5. As another review stated, managers badmouth former employees after they are gone. Eventually is going to cost this company a lawsuit. 6. Too many lines to sell. All sorts of promotions and goals that are constantly changing and you are forced to run around like a mad person. 7. Work hours are Monday-Friday 8-6. Holding education events or promotions at a salon (again...unpaid) on weekends and evenings is highly encouraged. You also work most nights an additional 2-3 hours doing mandatory paperwork. 8. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork...you are bogged down with ridiculous reports, where you explain everything you did for the day. Down to what questions you asked customers. Part of the company's micromanaging MO. 9. The micromanaging is OUT OF CONTROL. 10. You are tracked all day. You are required to keep your work devices on 24/7. If the pay were halfway decent or a base salary the job would be a little more tolerable. The level of mistrust this company has for their employees is truly sad.
