Broken Promises, Lack of organization, No communication between management and employees
Management is horrendous at the Robertson and Beverly locations. I have worked in retail for 9 years at high end boutiques and I have never seen anything like this. My manager was in our store MAYBE 2 days a week IF that. How do you call yourself a manager if you don't even have a significant presence in your store. By the end of it I rather not have her there since she only made things more difficult when she would try to pretend like she knew what she was talking about. The staff was never informed about changes from corporate, but was reprimanded when things were not done according to corporate expectation. Oh did I mention that she was the manager of two stores. Our store was the one she made an appearance at most so I can only imagine that they forgot they had a manager after a little while. And the best part is that when our director of retail stores would come to meetings to make sure things were run according to standards she would all of a sudden put on a completely different act. I was promised commission when I started and never saw a penny, but my main issue was the horrible management. I honestly feel bad for the owner because she has NO IDEA how her stores are being run.
