Disappointing, at best. There was a sincere lack of empathy for the team. The President at that time has since been relieved of his duties. He would run a Monday morning all hands meeting in which he would berate the developers and product people in front of the entire company. Every Monday. I?ve never experienced anything remotely so toxic. To get a flavor of his sensibilities, take a look at some of the management responses to Glassdoor reviews from 2016 and 2017. While he has since been shown the door, there is no trust between staff and the CEO. In 2017 and early 2018, all of the engineering and product talent just upped and quit, within months of each other. Nothing short of an exodus. For now, people enjoy the flexibility with their hours more than anything, as the benefits and pay are sub-standard.
