DO NOT trust the positive reviews! When you leave, management begs you to write a positive review.* Do not believe anything positive you read, there are FAR more HONEST, negative reviews. Trust those. This place is an unethical, corrupt nightmare. You will work for basically no pay and you will consistently be treated horribly by supervisors and the president of the East Coast. If you happen to speak up about the disrespect you are facing or your embarrassing lack of pay, you will be pacified and lied to by the President or HR and told that you will be "taken care of it", however, the treatment will only get worse. This company advertises they are in social work to help treat SOs and that could not be further from the truth. It is built to make money for the CEO, the West Coast president (the CEO's daughter) and the East Coast president. There is no clinical basis or thought, it is simply to get clients so they can bill insurance. CPC is rapidly losing contracts, as more and more departments are becoming aware of better, legitimate clinical options for clients. The culture is tense, stiff, and cliquey. Everyone "tattletales" on each other, and is desperate to make themselves look the best. My experience was horrifying. On a daily basis, I watched a supervisor taunt and mistreat an employee. It was unethical and wrong. The East Coast president, HR, and CEO were WELL aware of the abuse taking place (this employee was not the first to face this) and continued to allow it. You will have no one to confide in or report the inappropriate/uncomfortable comments the East Coast president will make to you. It is like constantly walking on egg shells, in the hopes you stay in "good graces." Lastly, this place defined "favoritism." For unknown reasons, some are allowed to work from home, work flexed schedules, or work in a higher up position with no college degree, or pertinent degree to the role. Do not expect to be given those opportunities, and if you do ask, you will be talked down to. The reasons for writing this review are simply to warn others from going through my experience and what I watched others go through. I feel guilty for what others endured during my time there, and I do not want anyone else to experience that, especially if you are young.
