Upper management is horrible (and saying that is STILL too kind). Management preys on young employees and uses flashy phrases like ?work life balanced? ?stock options? ?unlimited vacation? (which is never vacation because if any of the ACTUAL COMPETENT staff TRIES to take a break, TRUST that that person will be receiving multiple calls, no matter WHERE you are because management doesn?t know how to do ANYTHING) to try to trick you into working for them. DON?T BELIEVE ANY OF IT. Yes, start up culture requires employees to step in, but there is a huge difference between stretching your employees so thin they mentally break down and asking your employees (who are HAPPY) to pitch in. We all know the company is just trying to cut corners. Management tells straight lies to their loyal, hardworking employees and doesn't bat an eyelash. Oh, they also guilt trip employees to go to company events so they can attempt to force team bonding when in all reality, we do not want to sit around and cringe at the sight of our disgusting CEO. SPEAKING of the CEO.... he has been called out on multiple occasions for being misogynistic and racist. He treats all the women on his staff like little delicate girls who can?t contribute ideas because their female brains don?t work and they?re only good to look at. Guests and (PAYING) members have told staff that he makes them feel uncomfortable. When brought up to management about his behavior, there is always some excuse. "He was not in a good mood. He is stressed. He just wants this company to be the BEST." Last time I checked, when you're stressed, NORMAL people don't go around spewing racist and misogynistic remarks. Employees have to apologize over and over again because the CEO doesn't know how to shut his mouth. An employee reported racist "jokes" that were being made to upper management because it made her feel very uncomfortable.. She was told it would be addressed and that it?s hard when ?everyone is friends and jokes like that get said?. Nothing changed (of course). I could go on and on about how BAD it is here. The only reason I gave it one star (besides the fact that that is the lowest rating you can give it) is because the location team holds this entire company together. DO NOT WORK HERE.
