Easily the worst job ever. Fake reviews? Literally everything else. The management is BAD! The owner does not know how to be kind to her employees. Right from the interview, you think it will be a positive work environment but, she berates you and makes you feel stupid if you can't read her mind. At one point, she deleted all of my copywriting and told me to just "figure it out" because her boss used to do that to her and that"s "how she learned", no direction for what I did wrong, nothing. Just pure rudness and a waste of time. Another time, the boss Ilana, also yelled at me on the phone before work (We started at 9 but she would constantly call me at 7:00 am or after work hours, eventhough she told me she never did that) and then later "apologized" for yelling at me by saying "Sorry, I'm just a Leo and I don't think I'll ever unfortunately change the way I handle things". The interns are the only thing keeping this company going, everyone + me quit during my time there - just so so toxic, I was constantly crying out of frustration. If you are a seasoned vet in social media, don't work here - truly just busy work and no room for growth. and if you are new to social media, don't work here either - you will never please the boss, she is so knitpicky about everything, (almost fired a girl for using the WRONG emojis, instead of just talking to her) (I have heard so many horror stories from my ex co-workers) , you will not learn anything from this job aside from what social is NOT like and what NOT to tolerate. Even her old operations manager did not like the way the boss conducted the way she spoke to her employees. Just BAD BAD BAD experience here, the boss even asked one of her old employees to leave a good review because she wasn't getting enough of them! I was personally told that and was completely shocked. TOXIC environment.
